The WRC has a number of recurring activities related to faculty mentoring and professional development. We.....
- Review annual and cumulative evaluation files P &T, RIA,TIP and Sabbatical portfolios
- Counsel on personnel and professional problems and recommend actions
- Research national, state and UCF salary and other benefit profiles by discipline
- Provide materials for potential hires and negotiation coaching
- Provide opportunities for UCF faculty to meet nationally prominent women
- Have a UCF Faculty Women of Prominence Project to locate opportunities and support honoring women faculty in professional organizations & on campus
- Identify funding sources and assist individuals with grant writing
- Hold grant writing workshops and informal sessions 'Grant Writer's Revelations'
- Present data from the needs assessment and quality of life surveys to campus groups
- Track the successes of women faculty- promotions, hires, grant money, salaries, etc.
- Provide seed money and support though annual WRC Awards in the Arts and Humanities to Assistant and Associate Professors
- Provide opportunities for solo exhibitions in the WRC Women's Art Gallery
- Honor women at the annual Women Making History Luncheon
- Link UCF Faculty with community organizations for speaking, research, networking opportunities
