2007 Women’s Research Center Award in the Arts and Humanities
The Women's Research Center is pleased to announce that Dr. Lisa Nalbone, Associate Professor of Modern Languages and Literature is the recipient of the 2007 Women's Research Center Award in the Arts and Humanities. Dr. Nalbone’s project aims at filling the gap in publication on the work of Carmen Conde, the first female to be named to the Royal Spanish Academy (1979). Dr. Nalbone has many projects that examine the extensive works of Ms. Conde in the context of sociopolitical changes in Spain and emergence of female protagonists in 20th Century Spanish literature.
